The story of Opal & the Dunfermline Pigeon Pebble Project
Meet Opal, Our Pigeon Mascot
It all started with feeding pigeons in Edinburgh. What began as simple acts of kindness toward these misunderstood birds grew into something beautiful - a community of people who see the good in all creatures, no matter how others might judge them.
Opal, my beloved pigeon companion, represents everything this project stands for. Like the pebbles we paint, every creature is unique and deserving of love. The "rats with wings" comments hurt, but they also inspired us to change hearts and minds.
